You are eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) if you:
• are under 65 years of age, and
• are an Australian citizen or resident or permanent visa holder • meet the disability or early intervention requirements.
Your eligibility for access to the NDIS will be determined by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
We believe in protecting the rights of our service users, by advocating for them and providing them with the utmost quality of care. Due to this, we have various services we can offer to help our clients live a more empowered life!
For certain clients, the NDIA will fund Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). SDA is establishing accommodation for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs who meet the criteria set. Please see the SDA webpage for further information
This service includes services such as hiring a taxi or bus driver and other transportation services.
This specialist care is for clients who have high care needs, which requires them to have access to highly skilled and trained support workers to respond to the clients and their complex needs.
Interpreting and translation services enable our clients to communicate effectively in personal, social or community settings – in situations where translation services are not available from a mainstream service.
This service provides assistance to our clients in essential tasks that they are not able to undertake themselves. This includes tasks such as: meal preparation and delivery, house or backyard maintenance and cleaning
